Missing a couple of key players and given the premier league side used several players, it was going to be tough.
Kyall Ryan kept up his good form, scoring on the left edge to open the Tigers account. Momentum swayed back and forth the whole game, but it was Cowra who managed to finish on top. Tries to Koen Willis and Tom Kirby weren’t enough to secure a win and the Tiges were dealt a 22-16 loss.
Coach Dallas Booth wasn’t too critical, realising they were a little under strength and still played well against a side who will also be in the finals.
Oberon will play Orange Hawks on Sunday in Blayney, at 12.15pm. Good luck Tigers, and bring it home.
