The thousands of lights hung on and in many homes sparkle and twinkle, impressing the many residents who admire them. Some twinkle to music, some decorate the gardens and others illuminate our favourite Christmas characters.
Spread the Christmas cheer and impress our judges, it is a great time to get creative and make their job even harder this year.
This year’s competition will be judged in three categories – Best Christmas Light Display, Best Nativity Display and Best Business Display.
Winners will receive $100 to be spent at Oberon Motors. Best Decorated Christmas Tree and runners- ups will receive $25 Shop Local vouchers courtesy of Oberon Business Association.
Brian Griffiths of Oberon Hire Car has kindly donated his services to drive the judges and our jovial Santa Claus around town.
Our Santa is very busy but will have time to wave to you, so come out and wave to him or give him a big hug.
Don’t forget to get your entries in and you could win $100.
Entry forms are available from Ray White Emms Mooney.
