Mark off Friday, October 17, next as Bathurst’s own sharp “Toole”, Paul Toole that is, will be opening our newly completed workshop at 11am.
The workshop was completed with funding provided by State Government’s Community Building Partnership and the Veolia Mulwarree Trust.
The workshop compliments the Shed’s other activities.
Members of the Shed can get involved in bicycle servicing and sales, play a handy game of 500 or simply have a chat to pass the time of day.
See how far you can stretch the truth with your tales, tall but true!
Now our members can also participate in woodworking projects in the equipped workshop.
Some small projects for other community associations have already been completed.
Come along to the opening and meet Paul Toole, Member for Bathurst and State Minister for Local Government, enjoy a very laid back opening ceremony and enjoy the fruits of one of our talented member’s culinary skills afterwards.
Our famous cuppa and chat will also give you the opportunity to find out more about the Shed and its workings.
Don’t forget, October 17 at 11am. Oberon Men’s Shed is located in the Oberon Showground, enter off Ross Street and we are on the right near the sheep pavilion.
Last Tuesday John Reynolds from Veolia Mulwarree Trust dropped in to see the finished product of the new workshop
