However, this term the school extends a warm welcome to Nicole Francis, who is the new Head Teacher.
Ms Francis has been teaching for 19 years, 14 of those at Lithgow High School. Prior to that, she taught at Canowindra and Condobolin.
Having grown up in Lithgow, Ms Francis is quite used to the cold weather. She attended Lithgow High School and studied at Charles Sturt University, Bathurst.
Ms Francis has indicated that she is really keen to get involved in drama, dance and debating, as well as organising for students to see live theatre.
Having heard some really great things about Oberon High School, Ms Francis is looking forward to becoming part of the school team and getting to know all of the staff and students.
Please contact Ms Francis at the school on 6336 1606 if you have any questions or comments about the English/History faculty.
