Green scored 11 points coming off the bench for the Hornets in 131-99 drubbing administered in Chicago on Tuesday night - the hosts' 10th straight loss, matching their longest slide since January 2019.
Bulls starter Giddey managed just eight points on 3-11 shooting, to go with his seven rebounds, two assists and a steal.
After some major roster changes in the recent trade period, the Bulls (24-35) committed 19 turnovers and now sit a lowly 12th in the Eastern Conference.
Brandon Miller scored 23 points, Kon Knueppel added 21 for the Hornets (28-31) as they claimed a team record eighth-straight road win.
LaMelo Ball scored points 16 and Miles Bridges also had 16 in his return from a suspension for the visitors, who also got 10 points from Coby White off the bench in his Hornets debut against the team who traded him.
Matas Buzelis scored a career-high 32 points for Chicago while Patrick Williams and Guerschon Yabusele each had 11 points.
Knueppel finished with three 3-pointers on six attempts to up his long-range field goals total to 201. Playing in his 58th game he became the fastest player to reach 200 3s.
In Atlanta, Australians Dyson Daniels and Jock Landale got to enjoy a big win with the Hawks, albeit against the hapless Washington Wizards - 119-98.
Jonathan Kuminga scored a season-high 27 points coming off the bench in his debut for the Hawks (29-31) following his trade from Golden State, where he fell out of favour.
Starter Daniels scored six points to go with eight rebounds, seven assists and three steals while bench centre Landale had six points and three rebounds in 21 minutes.
Much of the attention was on someone who didn't take the court, former Hawks star Trae Young, who returned for the first time since being traded to the Wizards but remains out injured.
The Hawks played a tribute video to Young during a break in the second quarter, drawing a standing ovation from a crowd in which many fans were wearing his No.11 Atlanta jersey.
