Both awards programs were hosted on Thursday, November 27, recognising outstanding commitment to tourism excellence.
Mt Hay Retreat at Berry in the NSW Shoalhaven has won gold in the five-star accommodation category at the NSW Tourism Awards. The accommodation's website says the rural escape is a "private and tranquil haven a few short minutes from the heart of Berry Village". Each suite features a private deck with an "Insta-worthy" bath, and the property features a 33-metre indoor heated pool and spa.
Kalinya Estate, a luxurious estate in the NSW Wollondilly Shire town of Bargo, won silver.
Mount William Station, a family-owned and restored station in Victoria's Grampians, won gold in the five-star accommodation category at the Victorian Tourism Awards. The awards website says the Homestead offers "seven luxurious ensuite rooms, while the eight-bedroom Shearers Quarters showcase rustic charm and character".
Sofitel Melbourne On Collins, a luxury hotel in the heart of Melbourne, won silver.
If you're looking to glam-up your camping experience, try Tathra Beach Eco Camp and Ingenia Holidays Nambucca Heads, which won gold and silver medals, respectively, in the NSW caravan and holiday parks category.
In Victoria, All Seasons Holiday Park in Mildura and Valley View Caravan Park in Whitfield won the awards.

The top major festivals in NSW are Broken Hill Mundi Mundi Bash, Deni Ute Muster and Bluesfest Byron Bay. In Victoria, the top events are Lightscape at Royal Botanic Gardens Victoria and the Christmas Festival by City of Melbourne.
The best tourism wineries in NSW are Printhie Wines and Cupitt's Estate. Harman Wines and Bridge Road Brewers were recognised in Victoria.
