Corey Francis Reynolds, 49, of Alfred Street, South Bathurst, did not appear in Bathurst Local Court on Wednesday, July 9, 2025 to answer a charge of driving with an illicit drug present (second-plus offence) and his matter was dealt with in his absence.
Police documents before the court said Reynolds was driving a Holden Rodeo in George Street on March 28, 2025 when he was stopped for roadside testing at about 9.30pm.
A breath test returned a negative result, but an oral fluid test was positive to methamphetamine.
Reynolds was arrested for the purpose of a secondary oral fluid test.
A secondary test was positive to methamphetamine and a sample sent to the NSW Forensic and Analytical Science Service came back positive to the same drug.

Police said Reynolds told them that he'd had a smoke last night.
In court
Magistrate Gemma Slack-Smith dealt with Reynolds' matter in the late afternoon, noting that he had not appeared by that time.
Ms Slack-Smith said Reynolds had a "significant number" of similar matters on his record and "clearly has an unaddressed drug problem".
She convicted Reynolds, fined him $800 and disqualified him from driving for 12 months, starting July 9, 2025.
