The Prince Andrew accuser had posted to Instagram on March 30, where she said doctors have given her the short time to live after being involved in an accident involving a school bus.

In a statement her family said the accident took place on March 24 in rural Western Australia.
"A school bus hit the car in which she was riding. The police were called but said that there was no one available to come to the scene. They asked if anyone was injured and suggested that if they were, they should make their way to the hospital," the statement reads.
"The school bus driver had a bus full of distraught children and left the scene to get them back, saying he would file a police report, which he did later. Virginia was banged up and bruised and returned home," her family said.
"Virginia's condition worsened and she was admitted to the hospital."
In her post to Instagram, Ms Giuffre said that she had gone into kidney failure and was transferred to a specialist urology hospital.
Western Australia police said they had received a report of a "minor crash" between a bus and a car just after 3pm on March 24 in Neergabby.
The crash was reported by a bus driver on March 25.
"The driver of the car was a 71-year-old woman. A passenger in the car was a 41-year-old woman," police said.
"The car sustained approximately $2,000 worth of damage. There were no reported injuries as a result of the crash."
Ms Giuffre moved to Perth, Western Australia, in 2020 with her husband Robert and her three children. She was previously reported as living in Cairns and the NSW Central Coast.
She is currently estranged from her husband and children, according to previous posts she has made on social media.
Ms Giuffre said she was "ready to go," in her post. "Just not until I see my babies one last time."
"I think it important to note that when a school bus driver comes at you driving 110km, as we were slowing for a turn, that no matter what your car is made of it might as well be a tin can."
Her family said Ms Giuffre thanked everyone for the "outpouring of love and support" since her post.
"She is overwhelmed with gratitude. Today she remains in serious condition while receiving medical care."
Ms Giuffre had accused Jeffrey Epstein of sexually abusing her and arranging for her to have sexual encounters with men, including Britain's Prince Andrew, starting when she was 17.
US federal prosecutors had brought sex trafficking charges against Epstein in 2019, but he took his life in a jail cell while awaiting trial.
Prosecutors have also brought charges against Ghislaine Maxwell, who is serving a 20-year prison term for helping Epstein sexually abuse underage girls.
Ms Giuffre had accused Prince Andrew of sexually abusing her when she was underage but a US judge dismissed the civil lawsuit in late 2022.
Prince Andrew made a "substantial donation" to Giuffre's charity in support of victims' rights as part of a settlement. He had not been accused of criminal wrongdoing and did not admit wrongdoing in agreeing to settle the lawsuit.
