Coles
Normal trading hours apply for Coles Supermarkets on January 25 and 26 with small adjustments to opening hours for a handful of stores.
On the public holiday, January 27, standard trading hours apply for shops in ACT, Tasmania and most stores in NSW and Victoria.
Stores in Queensland's tourist precinct will be open 7am to 9pm while all other stores open from 9am to 6pm, Coles said.

Regional South Australian stores will open from 8am to 8pm but all Adelaide metro stores are closed with the exception of the CBD supermarket.
Western Australian metro stores will close earlier than normal, at 6pm, while regional stores will operate with normal trading hours.
All Northern Territory stores will trade from 8am to 8pm and 8am to 7pm in Alice Springs
Shoppers were encouraged by the supermarket giant to check www.coles.com.au for individual store trading hours.
Woolworths
Woolworths supermarkets are open around the country but a handful of stores will be closed on January 26.
In Victoria, Woolworths on Bourke Street and Collins Square will be closed.
Gordonvale, Mission Beach, Weipa, Ayr, Bowen, Charters Towers, Mt Isa, Blackwater, Childers, Chinchilla, Kingaroy, Pittsworth and Roma supermarkets in Queensland will be closed.
In Western Australia, the Esperance and Katanning supermarkets are closed and in South Australia, the Millicent store will not open.
Woolworths encouraged customers to check the opening hours of their local stores by visiting woolworths.com.au/stores.
Big W
Big W will remain open on Australia Day around the country with the exception of some South Australian stores.
Shops in Victor Harbor, Port Augusta, Renmark, Murray Bridge and Mount Gambier will be closed on January 26.
Target
Target stores will be open for trading on January 26 but South Australia's stores will be closed on January 27.
Kmart
Opening and closing hours for Kmart stores are subject to change but most will remain open across the long weekend.
South Australian stores in Firle, Tea Tree, Munno Para, Ingle Farm, Kurralta Park, West Lakes, Port Noarlunga, Marion, and Churchill will close on January 27.
Bunnings
All Bunnings stores open on the Australia Day long weekend with the exception of Trade Centres.
Dan Murphy's
Dan Murphy's stores are open from 10am on January 26 and 27. Shops will close by 6pm or 7pm. Individual store opening hours are available on their site.
Liquorland
Stores in Victoria, NSW, ACT, South Australia and Tasmania are open on Australia Day and the Monday public holiday.
All stores in Queensland are open on January 26 but the Red Hill and Milton Village shops close on January 27.
Coolalinga, Alice Springs, Casuarina, Mitchell Centre, North Lakes, Palmerston and Pinelands stores in the Northern Territory are closed on January 26 but open on the public holiday.
Bunbury, Esperance, South Hedland, Boulder, Albany - Orana, Broome Chinatown, Kalgoorlie - Hannans, Kalgoorlie - Brookman, Broome Seaview, Tom Price, Albany, Northgate and Geraldton Bluff Point stores in Western Australia are closed on Australia Day.
Liquorland individual opening and closing times are available on the website.
First Choice Liquor Market
First Choice Liquor Market stores in Victoria, NSW, ACT, Queensland and Western Australia will open across the long weekend.
Trading hours may vary and stores' individual opening and closing times are available through the First Choice Liquor site.
Vintage Cellars
All stores open on Australia Day and the Monday public holiday in Victoria, NSW, ACT, Queensland and Western Australia.
Vintage Cellars in Darwin and Oasis Palmerston in the Northern Territory are closed on January 26 but reopen on January 27.
BWS
The majority of BWS stores open from 9am or 10am on January 26 and 27 and close between 6pm and 9pm.
Individual stores trading hours may vary.
