Unless you're a celebrity or a corporate executive, it's unlikely that you have a personal assistant to manage daily tasks. But would your life be easier if you did?

Imagine daily briefings on your work and personal calendar, weather forecasts, traffic updates and news highlights all delivered to you in an instant.

Perhaps your personal assistant also has special skills.

They may be able to recall the name of a catchy song stuck in your head, edit photos and videos like an experienced graphic designer or help you translate languages while on holiday.

Enter the Samsung Galaxy S25 Series, Samsung's impressive new launch of devices with leading AI technology, which offers a human-like personal assistant that breaks down the barriers to productivity and creative potential.

We put the Galaxy S25 Series to the test to highlight the most exciting PA-like features and how to make the most of them.

Find what you need, fast

For Samsung, 2024 was all about ushering in a 'new era' of AI technology with Galaxy AI. [1]

In 2025, the Galaxy S25 is engineered to better understand a user's context and communication styles to suggest appropriate actions based on their individual preferences.

One popular feature from the S24 was the 'Circle to Search' [2] function which is now more advanced on the S25 in its ability to contextualise both images and text. [3]

Imagine there's an artwork you've stumbled across but don't yet know its name. With 'Circle to Search', you can instantly circle it with your finger to discover more about its history.

Multimodal Search [4] , Cross App Action [5] and Natural Language features [6] can help conveniently record the details of an event and even add an event summary to the diary. So, if there's a local exhibition showing the artist that you've just discovered, you can make sure you'll be attending.

Another convenient feature is the hyper-intelligent voice command function.

Should you wish to share the best bits of your holiday to Italy with a friend over coffee, Galaxy AI can initiate a search of your entire photo album to bring up "photos of Italy last year" - all without having to scroll through hundreds (or thousands) of photos.

Simplify multi-step tasks

With a single click of a button, the Galaxy S25 can initiate its human-like personal assistant to streamline complex tasks.

It is this seamless integration of Galaxy AI that means that a multi-step process, such as organising a footy outing with friends, can be simplified.

Instead of opening a number of apps to complete this single task, Galaxy AI can help you to find tickets, diarise the event and tell your friends, to get the job done faster. [7]

When the game is over and you're all hungry, the AI assistant can initiate a search to locate restaurants in the area based on what everyone feels like for dinner.

Later in the evening, you can experience the power of the AI editing features, which can isolate and amplify or remove wind, voices, music and background noise in videos [8], and creatively generate images based on photos in your gallery or text prompts. [9]

Samsung Galaxy's S25 AI assistant truly goes from day to night, by your side.

Visualise the day ahead

Now Brief [10], a new feature on the Galaxy S25, gives users a detailed daily brief morning and evening, a feature that can drastically improve productivity and provide structure to the day.

This could include customisable information about their sleep cycle derived from their Samsung Galaxy Ring [11] device, news and weather highlights, a work or fitness schedule, or recommendations for YouTube videos to watch.

The Now Bar also gives you fast access to apps and highlights from the lock screen, so you don't have to spend time searching for and opening different applications.

Experience a new level of privacy

As Australians are increasingly embracing the potential of mobile AI, there is an element of risk if data is not handled correctly.

Samsung has responded to this with a strong investment in device security and data privacy, launching One UI 7 designed for the age of AI and hyperconnectivity.

With options for on-device processing and cloud-based services, users will have full control over how their data is used. [12]

But that's not all. With the rapid proliferation of AI technology, Samsung is also interested in safety proofing for future threats. The Galaxy S25 specifically uses post-quantum cryptography to encrypt your data in real-time.

Conclusion

With the Galaxy S25, Samsung continues to democratise AI and bring the best and most practical parts of this technology to Australians.

With its incredible camera quality and display, Now Brief highlights, impressive privacy technology, and human-like PA features, there's plenty to be excited about when it comes to the Galaxy S25.

So, would life be better with an AI assistant?
