The city said goodbye to 2024 with the annual Party in the Park event.
For the second year, it was hosted by the Bathurst Business Chamber with the help of financial contributions and in-kind support from local businesses.
With Party in the Park being a free event, thousands of people were able to come along and settle in for a night of entertainment.
The event included a best-dressed competition, live music from Time to Be Frank and K'nOath, free face painting for the kids, and a charity barbecue run by the Rotary Club.
While the barbecue was in demand, many patrons had brought along a picnic the enjoy across the night.
K'nOath kept belting out the hits as 8.45pm neared, at which point the fireworks commenced.
The sky was a sea of colours and flashing lights, generating cheers and applause from the crowd.
