The changes will be shown on the user's Centrelink online account, where anyone affected can find their new reporting date.
Service centres and most Centrelink call centres will be closed for four days during the public holidays, including Christmas Day and New Year's Day.

Anyone reporting early will need to include what they are expected to be paid in the reporting period.
Those who are unsure of their employment income or if there have been changes to their circumstances may report after the period, but will not be paid until after they have checked in with Services Australia.
Customers who report when Centrelink is closed will not be paid until after the public holiday.
For those who do not need to report, they may find the payment in their accounts early due to the public holidays.
The Services Australia website advises those who are paid early to "budget so this payment lasts until your next payment day."
