Kicking licenses revoked
It's been a constant trend for Dubbo CYMS all season and again on the weekend the Fishies produced some interesting final tackle options, leading to a few jokes after the game.

In the first set of their match against Orange CYMS, second rower Billy Sing was thrown the ball to put up a kick before Ben Marlin did the same twice during the remainder of the match.
"After he did the first one the word went out for him not to do it again and he decided to put another chip kick in," coach Shawn Townsend said of Marlin's kicking game.
"If he is to do it again it might be better for him to put it in the air. He might have been a bit selfish.
"At some stage, Benny kicked twice, Jeremy Thurston kicked a couple of times and Billy Sing did as well. We need to get that sorted out."
The more check-ups the merrier
Jack Arrow Sporting Complex has been the scene for promoting several great causes over the past couple of rounds at the Bathurst venue.
In the previous round at the ground, against Panthers, the club promoted the Heart Of Sport campaign to give players, family and friends a chance to check their vital health factors for free.

The latest booth to feature at the ground was The Amend Project, which aims to help those who are struggling with their mental health.
Both these causes have featured at other venues recently during the Peter McDonald Premiership season, such as Apex Oval during Dubbo CYMS' recent clash against Forbes.
It's great to see so many outlets for well-being being woven into game days throughout the Central West, and it's awesome to see mental health becoming a topic for men to be discussing more openly.
Points galore
It's a mentality which looks to have crept into some sides on the weekend with several sides posting massive scores.
Forbes, Mudgee, Wellington and Bathurst St Pat's all scored more than 40 points while Parkes put 64 points on the Orange Hawks.
Even the Bathurst Panthers scored 34 points in a losing effort.
With finals just around the corner, we are sure several sides will be wanting to sure up their defence before the whips get cracking.
Try-scoring battle heats up
Ben Maguire v Jacob Smede.
It's not a battle you'd expect to see at the top of the try-scorers list but it's what we've got.
The two are joint at the top of the ladder with 15 tries each and only one round remaining while Jeremy Thurston and Ethan Pegus are just one four-pointer behind them.
Maguire deserves a special mention here considering he is the only forward on that list and I'm back him to come home with a wet sail when Forbes take on Wellington next weekend.
