Jalna Dairy Foods recalls two yoghurt products nationally

An Australian yoghurt company is urgently recalling two of its products due to potential E. coli contamination.

Jalna Dairy Foods has issued a recall of its Lactose Free Vanilla 1kg with a best before date of July 28, 2023, and the Sweet & Creamy Greek Coconut 1kg with a best before of August 2, 2023.

The products have been available for sale nationally at major supermarkets including Coles, IGA, Woolworths and independent grocers.

"The recall is due to potential contamination of E. coli," the recall notice said.

"Food products contaminated with E. coli may cause illness if consumed.

The products can be returned to the place of purchase for a full refund.
