Oberon's tourist attraction Mayfield Garden is offering a pop-up glamping experience this summer that includes alfresco dining, garden entry and, of course, a most memorable location.
It's been a challenging year for the renowned cool-climate garden, which, like other attractions in the region, had to negotiate the long COVID lockdown and various government requirements.
A Mayfield spokesperson said the pop-up glamping experience would give glampers a chance to enjoy the tranquility and majestic surrounds of the gardens "in absolute comfort".
"The biggest bonus for glampers is exclusive night-time and early-morning access to the gardens," the spokesperson said.
"We will happily cater a sunset picnic or sunrise breakfast, complete with a bottle of champagne."
The glamping tents will be located by Mayfield Garden's Obelisk Pond, the spokesperson said, and each will be fitted out with "authentic natural fibre rugs, luxurious mattresses and high-grade linen".
"Guests can relax in the well-lit covered area, before stargazing and retiring to their tent for the night," the spokesperson said.
"You can even arrange to have breakfast delivered to your tent."
Mayfield glamping will be available from Monday, December 27 to Wednesday, January 26.
The glamping at Mayfield will coincide with Mayfield Garden's Summer Festival from December 27 to January 26.
