For Ever Bouquets Florist owner Melissa Pike is encouraging Oberon residents to get creative this Christmas and make DIY decorations for around the house.
"DIY is a good little activity for the kids as well as the adults who're thinking of something to do during school holidays," she said.
She said DIY gives people an opportunity to get creative and learn new things.
"You can make things from materials you might not thought of," she said.
Ms Pike said her business was offering materials and DIY package kits available for purchase.
"We're selling holly and Christmas wreath bases, we have bits and pieces that people can come and buy and add to their decorations.
"You can create table centres for the Christmas table, wreaths for your front door, hangers and decorates for around the house or the Christmas tree, all sorts of things," she said.
Her top tip to making a great hanging decoration was to use a pine cone.
"Pine cones are great to make hanging decorations with and you can add Christmas bits like holly and baubles and Christmas flowers," she said.
"You can experiment, get creative and have a lot of fun with it," she said.
Ms Pike said For Ever Bouquets Florist will be open Christmas week from Monday to Thursday 9am-5pm and Christmas Eve from 8am-12pm for all your DIY needs and more.
"We've also got lots of fresh flowers happening and we do sell food hampers, there's lots of gift ideas here from $4 which would make great stocking fillers and we've got lots of plants at the moment," she said.
