Oberon Council has called on the community to raise funds for the McGrath Foundation through the creative initiative which helps to raise funds to support specialist breast care nurses.
Oberon mayor Cr Kathy Sajowitz said the community took part in Pink Up Oberon every year.
"We do different types of events but of course COVID restricted us this year so we decided to have two separate competitions," she said.
"We've asked local businesses to 'pink up' their shopfronts, take a photo and send it in. We'll post the photos on our Facebook page and the entry with the most likes will be the winner.
"Similarly we asked residents to dress up in pink or 'pink up' their houses," she said.
Cr Sajowitz encouraged people to get on board to also donate directly to the McGrath Foundation.
"It's such a worthwhile initiative to take because the McGrath Foundation do a wonderful job and everybody is touched by this in one way or another.
"You know someone, someone in the family or yourself, it touches a lot of people's consciousness and it's very well supported in Oberon," she said.
