It has two sessions weekly on Monday and Thursday from 10am to 1pm. The course facilitator Lyn Prowse is only too happy to teach beginners or simply give a refresher course for those who are a bit rusty on Mondays whilst Thursdays are for those with knowledge of the game and who have previously played.
The group meet at the Robert Hooper Community Centre and adhere to COVID safe guidelines.
It is important to stress that you need not to have played before, just come along and learn. The Bridge group had many Monday novices who have now become competent enough to join the more experienced players on Thursdays.

It is an absolutely engaging game to play, some would even say it is totally addictive.
It gives the opportunity to challenge the cerebral side in a wonderfully engrossing and stimulating way, along with meeting community members in a warm and welcoming environment. So don't be shy, give it a try, if you have always had a yearning to learn Bridge, now is the time.
