THE proudest moment of his rugby league career came when he hoisted the Mid West League Cup as Oberon coach, but Dallas Booth won't be back to guide the Tigers for season 2022.

In fact the man who led the Tigers to premiership glory in 2020 has gone as far as to proclaim: "If I coach next year, I'll run naked from here to Sydney."
While the Tigers will always be a club Booth is passionate about, after guiding their Mid West League Cup outfit for the past two seasons, he has now decided to focus on family commitments.
"I've been involved with footy my whole adult life, but I've got other things going on, I'm 36 now," Booth said.
"I've got family commitments, a couple of kids and we're building a house this coming year and I'm going to have a lot of time and energy put into other things. It wouldn't be right to commit to a job that I couldn't commit myself to fully."
With more than 300 games in Tigers colours Booth has had plenty of highlights, but his proudest moments have come during his two-year stint coaching the side in Mid West.

Their return to that competition in 2020 saw them end a 16-year first grade premiership drought by beating CSU on grand final day, while this season the Tigers made it to the first week of semi-finals where they fell 27-18 to Portland.
"Winning the grand final, that's probably the number one highlight and that was amazing," Booth said.
"I've had a really good run at it and become a life member of the club this year - that's up there with one of my personal most proudest moments.
"I'll still definitely be around, I'll do anything they need help with."
Applications for the coaching position are now open and Booth says it will be a good opportunity for whomever puts their hand up. He knows they will have a good core group of players and a hard-working, passionate committee to work with.
"Look the club obviously has some ideas who would be a good fit and who would do a good job, but you never know who will send in an application in either, anyone that applies will be considered," Booth said.
"It is going to be interesting to see who does apply, obviously Oberon is a very proud club, a close knit club with such amazing players and committee.
"It's a good opportunity for someone who wants an opportunity to start coaching, or who has coached before and wants a change of scenery to come into a pretty well-rounded, structured club with a core of players who are there already.
"Sometimes some fresh ideas are good too .. new ideas can freshen the place up and bring a bit of energy back."
The Tigers are also hunting for someone to coach the women's league tag side and Booth is hoping that Shannon Foley will opt to continue on in that role.
Since taking on the coaching job Foley has guided the Tigers' league tag side to back-to-back finals campaigns, while they won this year's pre-season carnival.
"I personally would hope Shannon puts her hat in the ring again for the girls because she did an amazing job this year. Not just as a coach, but a committee member too, she does so much work," Booth said.
