There were only 22 that played the 12-hole social competition this week.
Peter Griffiths handled the conditions admirably and his 29 points gave him a good win.
Ken Maddison was nearest the pin on the first hole. Kevin Hally was the runner-up.

Saturday was a magnificent spring day and a good field of 47 golfers took advantage of the conditions.

Shannon Foley is one of the younger set loving her golf. She had another win with a good round for 38 points.
Foley has only been playing for the last six months and is improving very quickly.
Kath Mooney was the runner-up.

Oberon golf club survives on the goodwill of its members and their contribution by way of volunteering for various jobs.
During the week there was lots of work done in cleaning up timber and fallen trees.
