The group was started by Lincoln Briffa in September 2020, who wants to make a difference in the town by reducing suicide rates.
"Walk 'n' Talk For Life events are so important, especially during these tough times the country is experiencing," he said.
"Having someone to talk and listen to is something so simple and makes a huge difference in peoples lives."
Mr Briffa said he has the help of Oberon Rotary Club and Oberon Council to run the barbecue at The Common every two months but he encouraged more volunteers to get on board.

"We are always looking for any volunteers who are willing to help out with it and I am hoping we can host a meeting in November," he said.
He said he hosted a virtual walk in September via Zoom.
"Feeling isolated and alone can create a lot of anxiety and stress so connecting people through our face-to-face and online events gives people comfort and support."
