Supercars has confirmed its revised calendar for the 2021 championship with the Repco Bathurst 1000 now to run from November 4-7.
Supercars CEO Sean Seamer said the calendar update was made in consultation with broadcast partners and team owners and was made necessary by the COVID challenges in various states.
Tickets that have already been bought for the Bathurst 1000's original dates in October will be valid for the rescheduled event and ticket holders will be contacted with further details.
The 2021 season will still finish with the Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500 on the streets of Surfers Paradise over the weekend of December 3-5.
Mr Seamer said concerns about ongoing border closures due to COVID-19 had prompted the rescheduling of events.
"We are continuing to work closely with NSW Health, Bathurst Regional Council, emergency services, broadcasters and the NSW Government on planning for the Repco Bathurst 1000, which is the pinnacle of Australian motorsport," he said.
"We will meet all COVID-19 safety requirements necessary to ensure this year's Great Race goes ahead. Our aim is to ensure we can bring back as many fans as possible."
