4WD course

Applications for Scout NSW's 4WD Oberon to Wombeyan Caves weekend training course closes Friday, August 6. The course and is aimed at beginners who want to learn how to negotiate difficult 4WD tracks and perform recoveries. Heritage Railway
Decision made
The Oberon Tarana Heritage Railway committee met last week. It was decided to cancel bi-monthly general meeting and the Open Day scheduled for Saturday, August 7.

Census
Be counted
Census night is on Tuesday, August 10 with paper forms about to be delivered to households. Households will receive instructions in early August. The Census can be completed as soon as you receive your instructions, if you know who will be home on Census night (as opposed to waiting until Census night).
Adult Survivors of Child Abuse
Regular meetings
The Adult Survivors of Child Abuse - Cowra Support Group that usually meets the first Friday of each month have been postponed until further notice due to the unavailability of the facilitator. However resources are still available at recover.itmatters.com.au.
