Possibly the most exciting event will be a proposed return visit from the companion dogs and their trainers on September 7.
Not only will you get to hear about the training of these dogs, you will have an opportunity to chat with their trainers and, of course, spend some time patting these wonderful dogs.
We were fortunate enough to have a visit from this group in 2019 and those attending were full of enthusiasm about the day.
Auxiliary members are sure that Oberon residents are very aware of the culinary skills of our members and the lunch following the demonstration will be an opportunity to enjoy some delicious cooking and participate in a friendly social environment.
Also on the agenda is a cake stall and Father's Day raffle on August 27.
Goodies are snapped up quickly, so make sure you hit the stall early in the morning.
The election of office bearers for 2021 was held recently at the annual general meeting, with the following results: president Annabelle Gilbert; vice-presidents Ros Brown and Laurie Kirkman; secretary Sarah Mackenzie; treasurer Bronwyn Harvey; publicity officer Lurline Ralls.
Thank you to Kathy Sajowitz who once again agreed to be patron of the auxiliary.
