Oberon High School
Oberon High School's year 7 have been enjoying their maths lessons with some hands on learning. Students have spent time breaking down fractions using skittles and seeing what each fraction represents in real life, and then combining multiple colours to add fractions and understand how denominators work. The class then headed outside later in the term for some real life estimation practice. Students were reminded that one step can help them estimate the length and width of different objects around the school, with the most accurate team getting a prize.
