The day was fine and fairly mild for the most part.
However, a cold, rattly shower came through just as the last of the players were coming up the final fairways. Fortunately, the majority of the field was back in the clubhouse.
Ten pairs participated in the mixed ambrose, with Elizabeth Pollock and Kim Rawlings finishing in first place with an impressive nett 64.
In second place were Jenn Capel and Barry Lang with nett 66.5 on a countback from Sue Webb and Paul Behan.
Everyone agreed that it was a most enjoyable day.
Next week will be the third round of the Pat Arrow Trophy, which will be a versus par round.
