Transport for NSW says work will include removing and replacing the surface of the road to provide a safer road surface and to reduce maintenance costs.
Transport for NSW says work will be carried out between 7am and 6pm from Monday, June 28 to Friday, July 2 and is expected to take five days to complete, weather permitting.
Traffic control, a reduced speed limit and single lane closures will be in place during work hours.
"Road users should drive to the conditions, follow the directions of signs and traffic control, and allow additional travel time," a Transport for NSW spokesperson said.
"Transport for NSW thanks motorists for their patience during this time."
