Belly of the World Mushrooms presents a Mushroom Meander in the Mountains with Martin Martini. Martin has eaten over 200 wild mushrooms and is helping to put newly discovered mushroom variables into highly respected restaurants. He will be joined by fungi aficionados Symon Beck and Jsun Lau. To celebrate the 80th birthday of music legend Bob Dylan (on May 24), a group of Bathurst musicians will host a charity tribute gig honouring his remarkable legacy. The Oberon Tarana Heritage Railway will hold its monthly open day at the Oberon Railway Station on Saturday, June 5, from 10am to 2pm. Visit the station building and rolling stock shed, see the photo display of the Tarana Oberon branch line history, walk through carriages and see other vehicles up close, including locomotives.
