Life Education van
THIS week our students participated in sessions with Maree and Harold in the touring Life Education van.
These programs allow students to engage in a multimodal and engaging learning environment around topics that cover the key learning outcomes of the (Personal Development, Health and Physical Education (PDHPE) curriculum.
For our Year 6 students it was their final visit to see Harold.
It's Storytime
LAST week our students joined thousands of students from right around Australia taking part in the 21st year of the National Simultaneous Storytime.
The students got to hear the story Give Me Some Space, written by Australian author and illustrator Philip Bunting.
This year there was a real twist to the storytime with students treated to a reading of the book by astronaut Dr Shannon Walker who was on the International Space Station.
Waste 2 Art entries
OUR primary students entered a number of artworks into this year's Waste2Art exhibition.
A very big thank you to the students and teachers for their enthusiasm, commitment and hard work to create these clever pieces of work.
