Jake Robins had a good round for 25 points to win from Phil Cummings while Laurie Murphy was nearest the pin on the first hole and Eric Whalan won himself a ball.
Saturday saw the bright sunshine and a bit of warmth that our golfers enjoy and, as a result, we had a good field of 35 playing a stableford event.
Darren Gordon returned to form and his round of 37 points was enough to win A grade while Adrian Poulten was the runner up on a countback with 36 points.
Mick McKechnie was in good touch to win B grade with a good round of 38 points with Anthony Miller the runner up with 35 points.
Bob Rickard was nearest the pin on the first hole and Dennis O'Connell was closest to the pin on the seventh hole.
Balls went to Mick English, Marty Hotham, Terry Robinson, Barry Lang and Neil Whalan.
Golf next Saturday will be an 18-hole Stableford event.
Course etiquette
CART drivers are reminded to use the cart paths where possible and keep their carts at least 10 metres from the greens and don't drive on the tees.
Lines will be painted around the front of greens and banks this week and should not be crossed with a cart.
These measures will enhance the playing areas for all our golfers.
