League tag will kick off at 1.30pm, followed by the men's first grade at 2.30pm.
After a great result for the ladies at the Mid-West knockout competition recently, Shannon Foley's side will be fired up to start with a first-up win at home in front of a big crowd.
The men's first grade side will face a rejuvenated Portland Colts outfit who impressed at the knockout competition by defeating last year's grand finalist, CSU, on a countback.
The Colts have a large squad who are capable of troubling the premiership favourites.
The Oberon Tigers are planning a special Can Assist charity round this year and are reaching out to the community to help them.
This year's specially designed Can Assist jersey, which will be auctioned off after the game against Warriors at Oberon on July 3, will feature the names of family, loved ones or friends impacted by cancer who may no longer be with us or were fortunate enough to win the battle.
The Tigers need to order the jerseys within the next week, so if you would like to commemorate and honour someone, please submit their name to oberontigers12@hotmail.com
Club secretary, Neil O'Grady, said this is one way that we can not only raise valuable funds for Oberon Can Assist, but also remember those who have passed, and to support and celebrate those who have survived the battle against cancer which will give hope to the generations ahead.
If you require further details, please do not hesitate to contact Neil O'Grady (0400 137 228), Renee Newstead (0432 114 089) or Lourie Bailey (0428 858 884).
