The motion also included a request for an update on a proposed new cell at the waste depot and improvements to the office and toilets.

"Logs have been built up the back for over five years. We need to tidy up and cover trenches."
Council's general manager, Gary Wallace said they are looking at closing the old land fill and move into the new section.
Cr Andrew McKibbin asked when the town pound was going to be moved.
"This was discussed over 18 months ago," he said. Cr McKibbin moved an amendment to the motion, which was carried, that the general manager produce a report at the March meeting on matters involving the Oberon Waste Depot.
He asked for a time line for the completion of the office and WC facilities, and updates on the finalisation of the installation of the Oberon pound and when the new cell at the Oberon Waste Depot would start operation.
Councillors also wanted a timeline and program schedule for improving the existing operation section, which involves general waste and other non-recyclable waste.
They also requested costing and a timeline for the installation of solar power to the depot shed and for details of the unrestricted funds that were in the waste fund account.
Cr McCarthy said a review of waste depot fees and users should also be revised.
"I'm sure we can do better."
