Last Thursday, Tim Arnison won the round with a fine score of 32 points. Balls went to Don Miller, Sean Mooney, David Zhou, Anthony Borton, Hamish Gidley-Baird, Peter Dale, Steve McAllen, Mark Mathews, Mick McKechnie and Eric Whalan.

On Saturday, 36 golfers played an eighteen-hole Stableford event. Barry Lang had a return to form to win A grade with a solid round of 37 points. Marty Hotham was the runner-up on a countback. Dave King had a good round for 36 points to win B grade. Visiting friends, Col Ploughman was the runner-up with a good score of 35 points.
Nearest the pin on the 9th hole was Rob McGrath, 2.8 meters, Andrew Yeo was closest on the 17th hole, 2.3 meters.
Our pennant teams visited Leura to play Lithgow on Sunday. The past few weeks our teams have performed exceptionally well, however this week we were brought back to earth. The Masters lost their match 4.5 to 1.5.
The captain was able to hold his head high being the only one from Oberon to get a win. Next week Oberon will host the Blue Mountains teams on our beautiful course.
Members are reminded that the annual fourball competition begins this month, select a partner and put your names on the sheet in the clubhouse.
The following two Saturdays we will be playing the Fourball Par Championships for the the Jack Robinson Memorial Shield.
