Students' excursion a big day out at gardens and YMCA gym
Flying foxes and a hedge maze were explored by St Joseph's School's stage 3 students on their 2020 excursion to the majestic Mayfield Gardens complex.

The students took part in a two hour guided tour around the gardens, which include an English Box Hedge maze, water garden, orchards, the stumpery and a bluestone chapel at the highest point of the estate.
They had lunch at the gardens before heading to the newly opened YMCA gym for several workout sessions with locally trained instructors.
The day of learning and action - which had been organised by Miss Booth and Mrs Lau - was topped off with a gelato ice-cream.
