It is already being labelled "Marine vs. Mourinho," with Spurs manager Jose Mourinho set to take his team to Merseyside for a match against the joint lowest-ranked team in the FA Cup - and one whose league is on hold because of the national lockdown.
"It's an unbelievable draw," Marine boss Neil Young told on BBC One.
"We will plan as best we can.
"Usually with Jose's teams, he puts pretty strong sides out.
"We have won seven games to get here and this is a great reward."
Marine, who are in the Northern Premier League North West, advanced to the third round for just the second time after scoring a winner in the last minute of extra time against Havant & Waterlooville on Sunday.
Club captain Niall Cummins - an Arsenal fan - was present alongside Young at the FA Cup draw and told BBC Radio Merseyside afterwards: "I think we're officially the lowest-ranked team left in it and, judging by the Premier League table at the moment, they're the hardest team we could have possibly got.
"It's absolutely unbelievable. I checked my phone a second after the draw and it's gone off like mad.
"I'm so, so glad it's at home for our fans as well... It feels like you're dreaming."
Among other third-round ties, interim-manager Wayne Rooney will take Derby County to National League North side Chorley while Stockport County, of the National League, have been handed home advantage against West Ham United.
Defending champions Arsenal will welcome Newcastle United while Premier League champions Liverpool face a trip to Aston Villa.
Manchester United will play host to second-tier Watford, Manchester City will be at home to Birmingham City while Chelsea welcome fourth-tier side Morecambe.
Crystal Palace will be on the road at Wolverhampton Wanderers in an all-Premier League showdown.
The third round, to be played between January 8-11, is when teams from the Premier League and second-tier Championship join the competition.
The FA Cup scrapped replays for this season to help ease fixture congestion caused by the COVID-19 crisis, amplifying the chances of a few additional upsets en route to the showpiece match at Wembley on May 15, 2021.
