"I'm trying to find a darter who can stay in Blayney because with the other guy [darter from Bathurst] by the time he gets there she's gone," she said.
Thanks to continual sightings by the Blayney community, Ms Bertram said they've worked out Brown's regular path around the town.
"I'm just trying to get her home, it's been a long few months," she said.

Community members keen to help Brown and her owner reunite have set up a GoFundMe page to help cover the ongoing costs of trying to capture the dog.
"I've just received a bill for $1020 from the man who tried to cage trap her in Cullen Bullen and the darter has been out four times [from Bathurst to Blayney] and I haven't got his bill yet," Ms Bertram said.
Brown is the size of a German shepherd and is white in colour.
