THE Cancer Council has released an optional crochet pattern for beanies and it is now available at council - as is some gorgeous wool that is crying out to be knitted up into beanies for children, men or women undergoing cancer treatment who may need cheering up. Thank you Oberon for your great response to this project; don't forget we need all items to be dropped off by August 26.

GET SNAPPING
RURAL Aid is calling on all photographers to enter the inaugural Bush Photo Competition. The competition, which aims to capture life on the land or in the bush, will be open until September 3, 2020. If you are a budding photographer and you have a love for rural Australia, then this is the competition for you. We want to see images, ground level or aerial, of our Aussie farmers and their families and a depiction of what their life is like on the land or in the bush. There are great prizes to be won. For further information about the competition, email media@ruralaid.org.au
FROM THE BIBLE
GOD the Creator: "Show me your unfailing love in wonderful ways, By your mighty power you rescue those who seek refuge from their enemies, Guard me as you would guard your own eyes. Hide me in the shadow of your wings." Psalm 17, verses 7 and 8. Contributed by Jill Lang.
