Thursday afternoon wasn't too bad and 26 players teed off for 12 holes.
Kevin Hally, who is enjoying a bit more of a relaxing time on the course, had a fine round of 27 points to be the winner.
Balls went to Don Miller, Chris Lord, Doug Collins, Mick McKechnie, P Ryan, Dave Campbell and Peter Dale.
Saturday morning was a bit damp and overcast and a few of our regular golfers didn't show up, however, there were 26 players who braved the conditions and enjoyed themselves on what turned out to be pretty reasonable playing conditions.
There were some fine scores. Blake Miller enjoyed the conditions and had a great round for 41 points to win A grade. Zac Elwin was the runner-up with 37 points.
Peter Ryan was in a bit of good form to win B grade with 37 points. Bob Rickard backed up his win from last week with another solid round of 36 points to be runner-up.
Balls went to Sam D'Arcy, Dom York, Hamish Anderson, Adrian Poulten, Neil Whalan and Kim Rawlings.
There has been a lot of work done on the course over the past few weeks to improve its playability.
Several banks have been constructed to prevent good shots running into unplayable positions.
Topsoiling and seeding has been in place to prepare for good growth in the spring.
