In what was a serious break from tradition, the game was played on what is generally considered to be the women's day for golf.
With 11 pairs coming along to play, everyone agreed after the game that it was a very enjoyable day and something we should definitely do again! Thanks to all who participated.
The winning combination was Robyn Stapleton and Anthony Borton, who came in with 65 1/4 nett. In an extremely close second place was Robyn Slattery and Kim Rawlings with 65 3/4 net.
The bulk of the field came in with scores in the low seventies.
Next week will be an 18-hole stableford with Joan Sullivan on table duty.
Women's golf is played every Wednesday morning, teeing off from 9am. New players always welcome.
