The Scheme has been created by The Rural Woman (a site that aims to connect women around the world) with the financial support of the Regional Australia Bank.
The online course is a program designed to encourage, support and mentor rural women in small business, whether an established business or something new.
Rachel Anagnostopoulos (née McMahon) profile
I WAS born and raised in Oberon, attending St Joseph's for primary school and completing high school in Bathurst. I then left Oberon, returning in 2017.
Whilst working in office administration, I completed further studies, becoming a drug and alcohol caseworker at an Illawarra residential rehabilitation centre.
I joined The Seed Scheme because I would like to build solid business foundations and grow my businesses; it is an excellent opportunity to network with local businesswomen.
So far I've really enjoyed the program; it's only week two but I can already notice the difference in my approach to business.
I recently rebranded my 'Online Business Management' business, Alpha Online Business Services, which allows small businesses to outsource management of social media, websites, e-news, Airbnb, and other business functions.
My new business, Rainbow Beginnings, focuses on mentoring and improving wellbeing through education programs and individual sessions.
My passion is to empower people to be the best version of themselves, and to support them to overcome barriers that hold them back from fulfilling their dreams.
