This latest case is in the Coonamble local government area and it is the first case for this council region.

Data provided by the Western NSW Local Health District shows other LGAs with confirmed cases remain stable.

There are nine COVID-19 cases in Bathurst, this is followed by eight in Orange, six in Dubbo and four in the Mid-Western LGA.

There are also cases in Blayney (3), Cabonne (2), and Narromine, Weddin, Warrumbungle and Warren which have one case each.

There have been no confirmed cases in the following LGAs: Cowra, Forbes, Bogan, Oberon and Parkes.

The number of locally acquired cases where the contact has not been identified remains the same with at least one case in Dubbo, Narromine and Orange council areas.

A Western NSW LHD spokeswoman said it was critical that everyone continued to practice social distancing to minimise the risk of the transmission of COVID-19.

"This is important for everyone, but particularly for older people and people with health conditions that make them more vulnerable," she said.

"It's also important that we protect our health care workers who we need to stay well to provide care to people who become sick with COVID-19."

Meanwhile, across NSW there are 2032 confirmed cases from the 99,951 tests conducted.
