OBERON Fire and Rescue is looking for on-call firefighters in Oberon. Applicants must be available to be on call, live close to the fire station and be fit and healthy. OBERON Hospital Auxiliary looks forward to seeing members and any prospective new members at the next meeting in the Robey Centre at 2pm on February 21.
BOOK SALE
FRIENDS of the Oberon Library will hold a two-day book sale on Friday, February 28 from 10am to 4pm and Saturday, February 29 from 9am to 1pm at the Community Centre. The $1-per-book sale will focus on history, Australiana, cooking, gardening, art, travel and sport.
OBERON RODEO
GATES will open at 8am for a 9am start and main performance will be at 2pm when Oberon Rodeo is held on February 29 at Oberon Showground. Tickets: adults $20, child $10 and family $50. After party at Royal Hotel.
SWAP MEET

FARMERS' HELP
IT is important to obtain medical help even when times are tough, so until December 2020, Oberon Medical Centre will be extending its bulk-billing arrangements to include farmers and their direct family members.
