Two scholarships valued at $3000 each are available to local creative artists working in any arts discipline, including performing arts, visual arts, literature, multimedia and screen arts.
The scholarship program started in 2008 and has provided support to more than 40 artists, including musicians, authors, painters, film-makers, printmakers, sculptors, poets and photographers, according to the Veolia Mulwaree Trust.
The selection committee, headed by Veolia Creative Arts Scholarship patron Jennifer Lamb, will award two $3000 scholarships for artists to further their arts practice or to undertake arts study.
Scholarships are available for practising and emerging artists from any one of seven local government areas, including Oberon.
Applications close March 20 and can be submitted online via mulwareetrust.smartygrants.com.au/
