There was a lot of ho-ho-hoing as judges completed their duties in Oberon's Christmas lights competition.
They had a fantastic night and said it was a pleasure to see so many homes, shops and families taking the time to get into the spirit.
Oberon Business and Tourism Association would like to thank the residents and businesses of Oberon for supporting the annual Christmas lights competition.
Santa greeted many children with Christmas cheer and a bag of lollies. It was pleasing to see so many well-behaved children.
Oberon Motors winner was the Lawless family of Jenolan Street.
Overall winner was Sashi Dean of Shakespeare Close.
Michael Evans of Albion Street deserves an outstanding mention as we have been watching his progress in erecting huge structures for our entertainment and we were not disappointed.
Other notable winners were the Warburton family of Springfield Street, Michelle Graham and Alma Turner of North Street, Marj Whalan of Cunynghame Street, Quinn Culley of Dr Perkins Crescent, Jacob and Reece Braun of Albert Street, Keiran Hunter and the Lynch family of Carrington Avenue, Arioli family in Kelly Place and the Hayden family of Dickson Close. All received Shop Local Vouchers.
