OBERON High School students were invited to take a break from the classroom and bust a move on Friday, December 13 to support those who are still struggling with the drought and join in the Bust the Dust movement started by students from St John's Parish School, Trangie.

Stage five dance and stage five child studies created posters and performed a rain dance to raise awareness of the drought and raise spirits.
Oberon High School's students showed their compassion and generosity with financial donations and by joining many other schools in performing the rain dance which was shared to the #bustthedust Facebook page. The post received over 2000 views.
Thank you to Ms McTrustry and Miss Bender for their efforts for this worthy cause.

RETURN DATES
FINAL day for students at Oberon High School was Wednesday, December 18.
A staff development day will be held on Tuesday, January 28, 2020 (no students).
Years seven to 10 students and senior mathematics extension will return on Wednesday, January 29, 2020. Remaining senior students will return on Thursday, January 30, 2020.
Oberon High School's swimming carnival will be held on Wednesday, February 19, 2020. School photos will be taken on Friday, February 21, 2020.
