The lights and decorations will be judged again this year and prizes will be awarded for those who have made an outstanding effort.
Organisers say the judging categories are being kept secret this time, so locals are being advised to let their imagination loose and decorate the way they like.

Prizes include an Oberon Motors voucher and Oberon Business and Tourism Association's shop local vouchers.
Lights and decorations need to be up and ready by this Monday, December 16. Judges will travel on the Santa bus on Tuesday, December 17 from 6pm, carrying treats for the children.
"If your display is a little out of the way and you are concerned that it may not be noticed for judging, please ring the Ray White office on 6336 1109 to register your address," an organising spokesperson said.
"The judges are looking forward to seeing what the people of Oberon come up with this year. So put up those Christmas lights, decorate those shop windows and join in the spirit of Christmas."
