School's out, forever: Farewell to Oberon's Class of 2019

FRIDAY, November 22 marked the graduation ball for the class of 2019 from Oberon High School.

After a professional photography session the graduates of 2019, dressed in their finest, were presented to a large crowd of family, friends and school staff at Oberon RSL Club.

As they were presented to principal Craig Luccarda and year adviser Cameron Inwood, MC Shannon Marshall regaled us with a brief outline of each student's triumphs and aspirations.

Each graduate was given a complimentary copy of the 2019 Oberon High School Yearbook and also a commemorative framed photograph.

This - combined with a delicious meal, celebratory cake and some dancing - made for a memorable send-off enjoyed by all who attended.

Many thanks to Mr Inwood and his helpers for organising such a wonderful night.

CONGRATULATIONS to the Reconciliation candidates from Year 2 who made their First Reconciliation last Thursday evening. This was an integral part of their faith journey.

Thank you to the wonderful parents, grandparents, staff and parishioners who have given great support and encouragement to these students along the way.

THANK you and congratulations to Stage 3 students from St Joseph's School for the participation and conduct on the Lake Burrendong camp.

It was an amazing three days filled with many activities designed to expand the children's comfort zones.

A special thank you to Kylie Hayden who made the trip a special experience for the children. Thank you to Tanya Pointon for organising the excursion.

ST Joseph's School students have been participating in squad-style activities and water games to improve their water confidence, safety and skill development.
