Each year on November 11 at 11am, Australians observe one minute's silence in memory of those who died or suffered in all wars and armed conflicts and as an appreciation of their sacrifices.
The Oberon service will begin at 10.55am at the Oberon RSL Sub Branch Military Museum.

It will be followed by lunch at noon at the Oberon RSL Club for all ex and current service personnel and war widows.
The RSL will be selling poppies and badges in the main street this Friday and Saturday, November 8 and 9.
Oberon RSL Club Sub Branch president Bill Wilcox said the service commemorates that immortal day when the guns fell silent across Europe.
"The Armistice had been signed between the Allies and the Germans for the cessation of hostilities on the Western Front which took effect on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month, 1918, 101 years ago," he said.
