The new equipment will be put to use soon to present the first of two Armchair Travel sessions which will take place this term.
The final term for 2019, which commences next Monday, will offer Armchair Travellers the opportunity to venture into Central Europe with Brian and Kathy Beesley.
IN OTHER NEWS AROUND OBERON:
Later in the term, the session will take Armchair Travellers on a bicycle ride along the Loire Valley in France with Jenn Capel.
The grant from Veolia Mulwaree to purchase the equipment will mean greater independence for Oberon U3A, as well as contributing to the capacity of the organisation to present a wide range of courses to its nearly 200 members.
