Bruce and Irene Howard, along with their son Andrew, say their business has gone from strength to strength over the years.
Mrs Howard said she thought the Buy Local Oberon 2019 campaign was a good idea.
"This encourages people to spend in Oberon," she said.
"I buy everything I need in Oberon to support local businesses. I travel to Bathurst regularly to see family, but I always come back and buy my groceries in town.
"This is a way to give back to our loyal customers."
Howard's Auto Port was established in 1986. Mr Howard says he has worked on every type of motor imaginable - from water pumps and lawn mowers to cars, tractors and trucks.
"If you need a motor fixed, you take it to Bruce," Mrs Howard said.
"Bruce has always specialised in four-wheel drives. Every second car in Oberon is a four-wheel drive with a dog on the back," she said with a giggle.
"We usually have five or six four-wheel drives in the workshop at a time, so the demand is there for this specialised service."
Mr and Mrs Howard added a large extension to their workshop in 2004, building a huge workbay over the top of the original workbay.
When the extensions were completed, the workshop inside the extension was dismantled. This meant it was business as usual with no disruptions to their customers.
Over the years, the business has bought lots of new equipment to keep up with the new computerised systems in cars.
"These days you need to plug a car into a computer to find out what the problem is," Mr Howard said. "That's why we have to keep up with the changes.
"Due to the workload, our workshop now has three hoists."
The Howards' son Andrew joined the business after he completed his motor mechanic apprenticeship.
He went on to complete his automotive electrical trade, which is a huge bonus to the business.
"We have your mechanical and auto electricals all covered in the one shop," Bruce Howard said.
Howard's Auto Port is open six days a week from 8am to 6pm and is located at 26 O'Connell Road, Oberon.
